What: On Monday we went to city. The trip was to the Christchurch art gallery, Canterbury museum and a city walk.
So what: the art gallery and museum because the art gallery was real cool like the fountains and the elavater and the museum because you learnt different things heaps of years ago like how they drill and how they get food because that is how the moas went instinct.
Now what: if I went again I would see other things in the art gallery and museum.

Athletics

On Tuesday and Wednesday we had Kauri Athletics.
A challenge I faced on Athletics day was shot put and discus.
My favourite event on the day was sprints because I like it and I am good at it.
Something I am proud of is getting to zones for sprints, shot put and long jump. Especailly shot put.

MATHS

WHAT?
My goal is to develop the consistent use of our CARE Values towards all the people I interact with and for myself .
SO WHAT?
- My strengths are in being being respectful in the playground being a respectful person, because I do not call out and I do not talk in presentations.
- I have achieved my bronze certificate.
- I have almost achieved my silver certificate.
NOW WHAT?
- I am going to work towards my silver by the end of this year because it is a great thing to achieve at school.
- I am going to do this by being respectful to others.
Art attach
WHAT?
For art attack my goal was to produce a piece of art related to our local landscape using either paint, water colour or pastel.
With Mrs Marsh I learned about foreground, midground and background in landscapes.
With Mr Forman I learned about colour and complementary colours.
With Mr Rule I looked at the different landscape features of Canterbury and Banks Peninsula.

SO WHAT?
- I enjoyed using water colors with music
- I was proud of getting my art done
- I felt it easy was drawing the sea and the horizon and what I felt difficult was my tree.
